I approach each client's journey with empathy, humility, and a deep respect for the personal and spiritual growth they seek.

What is Internal Family Systems (IFS)?

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative, evidence-based therapy model that views the mind as made up of distinct subpersonalities or "parts," each with its own perspectives, emotions, and roles. These parts often develop in response to past experiences, especially trauma, and can sometimes clash or become overactive, leading to internal conflict and distress.

IFS helps individuals identify and connect with their core Self—an authentic, compassionate center of wisdom and calm—and understand the different parts within. Through this process, clients can heal wounded parts, integrate conflicting aspects of themselves, and foster internal harmony. IFS empowers individuals to develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and resilience, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What is Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)?

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a specialized evidence-based treatment designed to help children, adolescents, and their caregivers overcome the emotional and behavioral effects of traumatic experiences. TF-CBT combines cognitive-behavioral strategies with trauma-sensitive interventions to assist clients in processing traumatic memories, managing distress, and reducing symptoms of trauma such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.

The approach emphasizes psychoeducation, skill-building, and gradual exposure to traumatic memories in a safe and supportive environment. TF-CBT aims to empower clients with effective coping mechanisms, promote healing, and restore a sense of safety and control after trauma.
